More and more, older adults prefer to live independent, non-institutional lives and our non-medical, in-home Elder Care is a safe, effective way to provide care in the comfort of one’s own home. Our experienced, well trained, compassionate staff is prepared to help you or your loved ones make the best possible decisions for in-home care. We provide four distinct, high quality services to assist the aging or physically disabled individual to remain in their own home.
Attendant/Personal Care service is designed to create the best possible living situation by providing “hands-on” personal assistance for activities of daily living such as showering/bathing, skin care, medication monitoring, grooming, incontinence care, lifting and transferring, dressing, feeding, denture care, overnight care, and memory enhancement plus much more.
We are contracted with United Healthcare Community Plan (previously Evercare Select) a long term care health plan for certain elderly, physically disabled and chronically ill people who are recipients of Medicaid.
Respite Services are designed to provide a break for the family or the main caregiver of an aging or physically disabled person. Our Respite program is designed to let you relax with the knowledge that our trained staff will see to your family member’s needs and comfort. Or, if you would prefer, we can arrange to train and certify someone you refer such as a relative, neighbor, or person from your church to provide the care.
Companion Care is designed to monitor the personal well being of individuals that require watchful oversight, keep them company and provide socialization opportunities. This includes but is not limited to assistance with bathing, mobility, meal planning and preparation, monitoring personal safety and dietary needs, providing medication reminders, incidental transportation, reading and letter writing, crafts, escort to activities and to the doctors office.
Homemaker services are meant to assist the individual with everything it takes to “run the house” including laundry, light housekeeping, dishes, shopping, trash removal, watering plants, pet care, errands, linen changes, even changing light bulbs.
